On November 16, 2021, TriLink BioTechnologies proudly hosted the Annual mRNA Day—a global, virtual event in partnership with The CRISPR Journal and Genetic Engineering & Biotechnology News (GEN) to discuss mRNA vaccines, applications in gene and cell therapy, and mRNA manufacturing and biology. In November of 2019, the City and County of San Diego officially proclaimed “mRNA Day” to honor the grand opening of the TriLink BioTechnologies facility and Maravai LifeSciences headquarters. With our mRNA Day 2021 event, we are carrying the torch forward to establish a tradition of celebrating mRNA by bringing together leaders in the industry to share their scientific knowledge, research expertise, and predictions for the future. Due to the enormous success of this event, TriLink BioTechnologies made a donation for every mRNA Day registrant to UNICEF USA to support ACT-A efforts to help end the pandemic through treating and vaccinating vulnerable communities across the globe. The total sum exceeded $25,000.
