The mRNAbuilder® tool allows you to build and order your construct online. From there, our team will review your order and contact you with any questions.
How it works
To get started:
Sign in or create an account.
Enter your mRNA or long RNA transcript and custom requests into the mRNAbuilder® tool. The builder will adjust based on your configuration choices.
To create your sequence:
The mRNAbuilder® tool will generate a quote based on your configuration.
If your choices are ‘other’ in the form, our technical team will review your request and email you a bespoke quote.
To save your quote or place your order:
To save your quote, click save. From there, you may generate a PDF version and return to your configuration anytime for review or updates.
To place your order, click Add to Cart.
Next steps :
Our technical team will review your order and sequence. If we have any questions, we will contact you directly.
Please allow for 4-6 weeks for most custom mRNA constructs.
Upon shipment, a payment confirmation and FedEx tracking number will be emailed to you.

Technical questions
- Our technical team will review your sequence for IVT compatibility before manufacturing begins. If need be, a member of our team will reach out for alignment.
- We do not optimize or adjust your sequence.
- If using TriLink UTRs please ensure the provided custom sequence(s) are correct and contain functioning start (ATG) and stop codons (TAA, TGA, TAG). The sequence should include DNA bases not RNA.
- For custom UTRs please provide the entire sequence(s)—T7 Promoter, 5’UTR, ORF, and 3’UTR, polyA tail, and restriction cut site (as applicable).
- Of note, we do not accept ampicillin resistant plasmids at our facility. Kan-R is preferred
- Our process takes 4-6 weeks for standard complexity sequences assuming appropriate sequences are provided. Your online account will show when the order is in process, and we will email you when your order has shipped, along with the tracking information.

- TriLink welcomes customer supplied plasmid orders. Please fill out the mRNAbuilder tool with your details and we will contact you directly to discuss your project.
- Of note, we do not accept ampicillin resistant plasmids at our facility. Kan-R is preferred
- Our custom mRNA comes with the following standard QCs: Purity by A260/A280 ratio; and Integrity by fragment analyzer and RNA agarose gel.
- Add on testing options are available on mRNAbuilder tool. If you do not see a QC test you need please contact us for support.
An Analytical Report (AR) is provided with our standard QC package by default. If additional QCs are added, then a CoA or CoT will be provided.
Yes, a COA can be included in your order. Please indicate your request in the notes section of the mRNAbuilder tool.

Prices for custom mRNA, saRNA, or long RNA vary based on the modifications and the size of the order.
Yes, you may pay for any online transaction with a credit card.
- If your card is declined, please first check that your billing address matches your credit card.

- Upon checkout, TriLink will place a pending charge on your card.
- Upon shipping, TriLink will charge the final total including applicable taxes and final shipping charges.
