Description
5-Methyl-2'-deoxycytidine is an important epigenetic modification. This modification can be incorporated into DNA via PCR with Taq polymerase and 5-Methyl-2'-deoxycytidine-5'-Triphosphate for epigenetics studies. It has also been shown that microinjection or electroporation of 5-Methyl-2'-deoxycytidine-5'-Triphosphate has been shown to lead to developmental arrest in many cell lines.
